First Street Art & Wine Festival

September 9 & 10, 2022 Downtown Macon, GA

Join us for the 2022 First Street Art and Wine Festival on September 9 & 10. The festival will include art vendors, wine tastings, art activities for all ages, food pairings and more! With over 35 taps of wine at Just Tap’d, you’re sure to find the perfect wine for any taste. Grab a glass of wine and take a stroll down First Street to see all of the amazing sidewalk art vendors and wonderful shops and galleries. Live art demonstrations, free kids activities, souvenirs, and so much more! We hope you enjoy this fantastic weekend of delicious wine, beautiful art, and fun for the whole family. Admission to the festival is free, but tickets are required for classes, wine tastings, and workshops. (Ticket links below.)

Schedule:

Friday Enjoy wine flights, and wine by the glass with cheese pairings at Just Tap’d. Punch card holders will receive a discount on their tab. 5:30 pm Artist talk with Matt Odom at Macon Arts.

7:00 pm Paint & sip wine at Corks & Canvas at The 567 Center. All class participants will receive 25% off of a glass of wine at Just Tap’d.

Saturday 3:00-7:00 pm

• Wine sampling tickets available at Just Tap’d.
• Browse local artists at the Artist Market on the sidewalk.
• Listen to live music on the Just Tap’d stage.
• The Gallery at Macon Arts will be open featuring 'Blue Collar South: Photographs of Industry by Matt Odom' with10% off everything in the Gallery.
• Live painting outside Pearl. A sommelier will be on-site at Pearl to answer any questions that you may have about the wine you are enjoying during your delicious meal. Kids can paint an oyster.
• Sixth Ave will have an opportunity for customers to be able to paint their own custom shoes.

4:00 & 5:30 pm Paint your own wine glass at an Alcohol Inks Wine Glass Class.

5:00-7:00 pm All ages can enjoy a free art activity and make their own watercolor painting with the help of an artist at the Art Cart.
